Inventory Accountant

In line with this mission, we are currently seeking a Warehousing Accountant to join our team. As a Warehousing Accountant, you will be a key player in managing our inventory and tracking our finances related to warehousing.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Keep accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels and movements</li><li>Work closely with warehouse personnel to track and account for inventory</li><li>Monitor inventory levels to ensure appropriate reorder points</li><li>Track and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigate and provide reports or recommendations to improve processes as needed</li><li>Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports from inventory tracking systems</li><li>Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and ensure inventory and financial data is accurate</li><li>Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>1-3 years of experience in a warehousing or logistics accounting role</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and inventory management systems</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>High level of honesty and integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify and prioritize tasks as well as work collaboratively with cross-functional teams</li></ul>
