<p>Position Summary:</p><p>The International Volunteer Coordinator at USAM Foundation plays a critical role in managing and coordinating the organization’s international volunteer program. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a passion for engaging volunteers from diverse backgrounds.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>1. Volunteer Program Management:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Develop and implement strategies to recruit and engage international volunteers.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Create volunteer position descriptions and coordinate the selection process.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Provide orientation, training, and ongoing support to volunteers.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Develop and maintain a volunteer database and tracking system.</p><p><br></p><p>2. Volunteer Engagement and Recognition:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture within the organization.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Regularly communicate with volunteers, providing updates and relevant information.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Recognize and appreciate volunteers’ contributions through various appreciation initiatives.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Organize volunteer appreciation events and celebrations.</p><p><br></p><p>3. Collaboration and Partnership:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Collaborate with other departments to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Establish partnerships with international organizations to expand the volunteer network.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Coordinate volunteer involvement in specific projects or initiatives.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to facilitate volunteer placements.</p><p><br></p><p>4. Training and Development:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Organize and facilitate training sessions for volunteers to enhance their skills and knowledge.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Provide resources and materials to support volunteer learning and development.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Offer ongoing guidance and support to volunteers, ensuring their growth and engagement.</p><p><br></p><p>5. Program Evaluation and Reporting:</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the international volunteer program.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Collect and analyze volunteer feedback to improve program quality.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;- Prepare regular reports on volunteer activities, achievements, and impact.</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.</p><p>- Strong organizational and project management skills.</p><p>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>- Experience in volunteer management or coordination.</p><p>- Cross-cultural sensitivity and adaptability.</p><p>- Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus).</p><p>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.</p><p>- Passion for community engagement and volunteerism.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a volunteer coordinator position with flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely.
