Internal Auditor
Job Description
<p>We are hiring for the role of Internal Auditor who will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating Financial, Operational and Technical risks, thus designing audit procedures to execute the annual audit plan, assess controls and to meet audit objectives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Assist in Conducting audit assignments in line with approved internal audit plan.</li><li>Responsible for determining whether the audit areas are in compliance with existing policies, standards, procedures and other requirements and are consistent with good practices found elsewhere in the industry.</li><li>Asses whether audit areas are designed, specified, configured, tested, operated in a manner which is efficient, reliable, secure and consistent with organizational objectives.</li><li>Gathers statistically valid samples of the records at Kalaam, and analyzes these records, to determine whether internal controls are operating effectively.</li><li>Assists in preparing summary of the results of the assigned internal audits.</li><li>Performing periodic follow-up on all audit recommendations that have been agreed upon by the management and reporting to Internal Audit Manager accordingly.</li><li>Assists in preparing quarterly progress reports on planned audits and implementation of corrective actions.</li><li>Adheres to compliance by following established policies and procedures for the department.</li><li>Refers to HR employee handbook and code of conduct policy that also includes corporate governance rules and whistle blower policy.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills, Qualification & experience:</strong></p><p><u>Skills:</u></p><p>路 Excellent oral and written communication skills.</p><p>路 In-depth understanding & knowledge of auditing processes/procedures. </p><p>路 Good analytical skills.</p><p>路 Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio)</p><p>路 Ability to balance details with departmental goals/objectives.</p><p>路 Organizational and time management skills.</p><p>路 Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department projects.</p><p>路 Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Qualification:</u></p><p>路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in accounting, Finance, Business or other related fields</p><p><br></p><p><u>Experience</u></p><p>路 Minimum 5 years of work experience in the related fields.</p>
