This position will play a key role in the way we shape, create and develop our Communications, PA &amp; CR efforts, at a local level.</strong><p><br></p><strong><strong>What’s On Your Plate?</strong></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Understanding the significant role that public affairs plays in our industry. </li><li>Organise and keep up to date the stakeholder database </li><li>Supporting Sr. Manager to drive, develop and execute local community initiatives. </li><li>Assist in curating content for LinkedIn, writing press releases, media </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>monitoring/reporting. </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Work on the customer committee set-up and follow up as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with regional team, by assisting on specific requests. </li><li>Identifying &amp; leveraging newsworthy opportunities for positive media coverage of the company – editorial and pictorial – on an ongoing basis. </li><li>Supporting the Sr. Manager – Communications, PA &amp; CR to execute local strategy in conjunction with local teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>What Did We Order?</strong></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Fluency in Arabic &amp; English (with strong written skills in Arabic). </li><li>Results driven, creative &amp; passionate about ideas, words, and design. </li><li>Qualifications and/or experience in Journalism, Public Affairs or Communications (currently studying or recent graduate).</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Internship Comes With A Side Order Of…</strong></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Flexible work schedule, if you are currently studying. </li><li>40 hours per week ie. 9am-5pm, if you’re a recent graduate. </li><li>Combination work setting of working from home &amp; occasional attendance at the </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>office. </strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Possibility of a well paid full time job, if your performance exceeds expectations. </li><li>Internship certificate will be provided upon completion.</li></ul>
