<p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, </p><p>prepare BOQs and quotations, Measure and calculate the cost of materials, Prepare tender submissions and take offs, Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, Read and interpret drawings, Contract administration, Analyze AutoCAD 2D Drawings.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The candidates should have minimum 5 years experience in estimation &amp; costing with a fit out company in the UAE. You will be required to have a strong understanding of construction methodologies.</p><p><br></p><p>Must have knowledge of production (joinery) and installation (MEP, joinery &amp; fit-out) procedures.</p><p><br></p><p>Work with Sales and Design Team to prepare BOQ’s.</p><p><br></p><p>Technically sound, Strategic planning skills, Analytical and extremely detail-oriented.</p><p><br></p><p>Good IT systems knowledge and skills including AutoCAD.</p><p><br></p><p>Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should there be changes in work priorities.</p><p><br></p><p>Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree</li><li>Solid understanding of basic accounting principles</li><li>Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans</li><li>5 years of experience in fit out industry in Middle East</li></ul>
