<p>The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field</li><li>More than 3 years of experience in graphic design</li><li>3D pCon planner </li><li>Advanced knowledge of CAD software in 2D and 3D drawings / should be able to produce detailed technical drawings</li><li>Project management skills</li><li>Experience in fabrication and production methods and costs</li><li>Experienced in materials specifications that are best for furniture with great knowledge of the school curriculums</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to work mostly independently and to be self-driven, proactive&nbsp;</li><li>Undertake design project from concept to completion</li><li>Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”</li><li>Interpret and translate customer needs</li><li>Be knowledgeable and up-to-date on furniture design trends and industry standards</li><li>Conduct market research to know the general taste and favored style currently in furniture design</li><li>Develop concepts of furniture collections that compete with our competitors in design, quality, and price</li><li> Prepare presentations and prototypes to communicate design concepts to stakeholders as well as fabricators/manufacturers</li><li>Manage the furniture design process from concept to completion: concept designs, prototypes, reaching out to fabricators, material selection, and production drawings</li><li>Work with suppliers to source materials and components.</li><li>Supervise suppliers in fabrication and production to follow best practices to produce the best quality and reduce cost</li></ul>
