Job Description

<p>As an Interior Design Manager, you should be able to lead a project throughout the complete design process. <span>You should be well organized, innovative, and have a good understanding of the design to ensure successful delivery.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences in detail, including any special considerations or concerns.</li><li>Ensure interior design conforms with the budget.</li><li>Ensure design briefs and functional requirements are met during the design, construction and renovation, and fit-out period.</li><li>Attend job site meetings, as well as meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other professionals.</li><li>Preparing progress reports for clients on a regular basis throughout the duration of the project.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of Design trends and innovative products, conduct market research, and tour pertinent local comps.</li><li>Supervising the design team and making sure that the design meets the client’s request, and using the correct technique.&nbsp;</li><li>Following up the ongoing projects.</li><li>Prepares sketches or other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to clients.</li><li>Ensures client satisfaction by visiting the project on completion with the client; resolves any complaints or concerns.</li><li>Preparing mood board and design direction.</li><li>Preparing the final package to be delivered to the client.</li><li>Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.</li><li>Orders or obtains necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications.</li><li>Keep in contact with suppliers for materials samples.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field</li><li>Minimum 10 years of experience in the design field.</li><li>Proven experience working with clients to develop creative solutions that meet their needs and budget.</li><li>Have good knowledge of all high-end interior suppliers in UAE.</li><li>Strong taste in luxury, timeless, and cost-effective interior design.</li><li>Highly creative with excellent presentation skills.</li><li>Experience in Managing a team.</li><li>Have client-facing experience.</li></ul>
