We are looking to hire a reliable <strong>Integrated Control Centre Senior Engineer (DE-DE-0364) </strong>to ensure, assure, analyse and predict certainty of delivery so that everyone can work safely, correctly effectively, efficiently and the project achieves its aims. The Intergrated Control Centre (ICC) is the operational hub playing a key role in monitoring construction and delivery of <strong>THE LINE</strong> project. The ICC will play a key role in supporting people, controlling risk, ensuring safety, delivering results and facilitating continuous improvement.<br><br><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:<br></strong><ul><li>Maintain oversight of project progress planned against actual delivery.</li><li>Monitor telemetry systems alarms and data from remote monitoring solutions. </li><li>Manage esqulation to relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of issues and incidents reported to the control room.</li><li>Maintaining control of records and initial investigation of any incident reported to the control room until the relevant owner(s) has taken control (following a detailed escalation process) </li><li>Use the systems as designed, following the pre-agreed and standard procedures; whilst also looking out for, and escalating, ideas for continual improvement.</li><li>Manage reporting and escalation to the relevant senior management teams when necessary.</li><li>Analyse data from a wide range of systems to proactively manage the delivery program with task owners.</li><li>Identify risk and likely impact on program from available data.</li><li>Monitor system to ensure project compliance/governance is followed and data capture and quality is maintained. </li><li>Ensure that all equipment/systems faults are recorded in the control logging system (Service Now).</li><li>Develop reports to identify improvement opportunities and action plans with task owners using history/trends and any associated equipment or systems information.</li><li>Arrange and coordinate joint meetings between identified stakeholders/managers when necessary to progress significant faults to resolution.</li><li>Compile and supply task owners with daily / shift reports.</li><li>Controllers shall be responsible for producing daily reports on the performance of the project delivery activities and any issues or incidents that have been reported. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br></strong><ul><li>At least 5 years’ experience in a control room environment or high pressure logistics management role including military, road/rail, utilities infrastructure.</li><li>HNC/HND in a relevant engineering/construction discipline would be an advantage</li><li>Broad knowledge and experience in the maintenance of project management or infrastructure asset management and safety requirements </li><li>Very strong working knowledge and experience of project management and or construction. </li><li>Negotiation and influencing skills </li><li>Ability to make decisions regarding project delivery and incidents and, when required, ensuring work continues to programme whilst remaining calm in high pressure situations. </li><li>High level of analytical skill in real time environment </li><li>Substantial experience of report compilation and records preparation </li><li>Ability to use various management systems, quickly understand and interpret data.</li><li>A strong ability to prioritise tasks and recognise safety and operations impacts of accidents and failures.</li><li>Great attention to detail </li><li>Strong IT skills and the ability to work with a wide range of advance technology and systems.</li><li>Have good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills, that will support the delivery of all duties and be able to clearly explain tasks and inspire others with varying backgrounds.</li><li>Ability to convey complicated information to senior management team members as well as providing instructions to delivery teams Have high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of your work.</li><li>Preferred experience of common continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean / Six Sigma / Agile.</li><li>Show initiative and know when to escalate issues for further support.</li><li>Be a team player with regards to sharing information, helping to resolve a problem, working towards common goals, properly dividing tasks between team members.</li><li>Have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.</li><li>Communication skills must be in English to a high standard (e.g. ESOL level), with Arabic as a desirable but not required second language. Other language skills valued, but not essential.</li></ul>
