The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an Insurance Risk Specialist to join Insurance Management & Advisory Division (IMAD) of Financial Risk Management (FRMD) at This Company. IMAD is within Treasury and its function is to provide support across the Company through the identification, quantification and mitigation of casualty risks and to reduce the cost of insured and uninsured loss to the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Insurance Risk Specialist will analyze risk exposures, design strategies and procure insurance to protect assets and mitigate the liabilities of a growing company. The Insurance Risk Specialist will be involved in all aspects of the Division’s wide-ranging activities.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, establishing personal credibility with internal and external parties.</li> <li>Exhibits flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet challenging deadlines.</li> <li>Competently plans and coordinates workloads for themselves and others.</li> <li>Delivers work of the highest quality, adding value to the organization.</li> <li>Proactively overcomes issues to ensure successful project delivery.</li> <li>Possesses strong project management skills and a thorough understanding of contractual risk.</li> <li>Offers logical and innovative solutions to complex issues.</li> <li>Applies working knowledge of captive insurance companies.</li> <li>Develops strategies to mitigate or transfer risk effectively.</li> <li>Manages and coordinates activities of brokers, insurers, consultants, and other service providers.</li> <li>Handles risk engineering and asset appraisals.</li> <li>Negotiates claims and pursues recovery from third parties.</li> <li>Mentors and develops staff members.</li> <li>Represents the Division’s interests at internal and external meetings and assignments.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in insurance or risk management from a recognized and approved program.</li> <li>Professional certification such as ACII, CMIRM, SIRM, or CPCU is preferred.</li> <li>Has a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical industry, or a major corporate organization.</li> <li>Possesses significant relevant corporate risk and insurance expertise.</li> <li>Obtained expertise from industry, international broking, risk management, or insurance company background.</li> <li>Ideally has experience in the energy and petrochemical industry sector.</li></ul>
