The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking experienced Instrument & Process Control engineer to join Khurais producing Department as Instrument & Process Control Engineer. The Instrument & Process Control engineer will be responsible to monitor and trouble shoot the oil, gas and utilities Process Control System and field instruments of Khurais Central Processing Facility in addition to three other remote facilities located in Central Arabia and Mazalij areas. The candidate shall have a thorough understanding of plant unit operations, process control system technologies, field instrumentation technologies, business drivers, and economic evaluations. The Instrument & Process Control engineer shall also demonstrate the ability to work and lead multidisciplinary teams for troubleshooting, investigation & root cause analysis, conceptual designs, operation supports that provide basis for management’s decision.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provides day-to-day technical support to Operations and Maintenance, troubleshooting process-related issues.</li> <li>Develops and reviews engineering design packages for control systems and field instrumentation in new or upgrade projects.</li> <li>Reviews project proposal design packages.</li> <li>Updates and maintains engineering documentation and drawings.</li> <li>Proposes and conducts trial tests for new technologies.</li> <li>Develops, monitors, and reports Key Performance Indicators.</li> <li>Develops and mentors young Engineers.</li> <li>Provides analysis, evaluation, and interpretation to support projects, processes, and financial evaluations related to This Company Capital Investment decisions.</li> <li>Interacts regularly with professionals in various company organizations involved in capital planning and economic analysis.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Control System Engineering, with a preference for a Master’s Degree (MS).</li> <li>Possesses a Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.</li> <li>Has a minimum of 10 years of experience as an Instrumentation & Process Control Engineer, with significant experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably in upstream operations.</li> <li>Experience includes working with separation traps, dehydrators, desalters, compressors, gas dew point and dehydration systems, and utilities. An engineer with an operations and design background is preferred.</li> <li>Possesses detailed knowledge of industry standards and codes to support design reviews and plant modifications.</li> <li>Demonstrates skills in requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration, and implementation of process control solutions for chemical industries.</li> <li>Familiar with batch software, Yokogawa Centum VP DCS systems, Schneider Invensys ESD system, SCADA systems, and networking technology.</li> <li>Experienced in developing ISS (Instrumentation Summary Sheets) and ILDs (Instrumentation Loop Diagrams), as well as data sheets.</li> <li>Skilled in troubleshooting control system and field instrumentation issues, as well as field equipment failures.</li> <li>Experienced in conducting risk assessments, safety integrity level (SIL) studies, and HAZOPs (Hazard and Operability Studies).</li> <li>Proficient in commissioning and testing process control systems and equipment.</li> <li>Has experience in preparing instrument and process control system specifications and datasheets.</li> <li>Possesses strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical, economic, and commercial concepts to individuals or groups with diverse professional backgrounds.</li></ul>
