Job Description

<strong><u>Job Purpose<br><br></u></strong>Perform tasks related to the Installation, testing, and maintenance of corrosion control and monitoring systems to prevent company facilities from risk of internal and external corrosion.<br><br><strong><u>Key Accountabilities<br><br></u></strong><strong>Job Specific Accountabilities<br><br></strong><strong>Inspection &amp; Corrosion<br></strong><ul><li>Conducts corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection surveys and assess survey findings.</li><li>Maintain effective performance measures for pipeline chemical treatment program.</li><li> Coordinate with Maintenance support services the planning and inspection of protective coating, insulation, fireproofing and refractory works.</li><li>Prepare and implement inspection program for all tanks, pipelines, structures, and pressure vessels to ensure their integrity and safety.</li><li>Perform preventive, periodic corrosion protection programs to all company assets such as tanks, pipelines, vessels, and other equipment.</li><li>Plan and carry out corrosion tests and special cathodic protection procedures to avoid breakdowns and keeping equipment, vehicles, pipelines, etc. at minimum corrosion levels.</li><li> Conduct comprehensive coating surveys of all plant equipment to determine actual coating conditions and recommend corrective actions in accordance with company protective coating procedure.</li><li> Ensure that all corrosion-related activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.</li><li>Implement corrosion inspection procedures and techniques to ensure accurate and reliable corrosion data.</li><li> Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and vendors to ensure that corrosion-resistant materials and coatings are being used in equipment fabrication</li><li> Perform the technical aspects related to corrosion mitigation and facilities inspection are undertaken in full coordination with other technical functions within the company.<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br><br></u></strong><strong>Minimum Experience &amp; Knowledge &amp; Skills<br></strong><ul><li> 5 years working experience in corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection including six months on job</li><li> training and familiarization.</li><li> PC user with good computer skills, and to be able to apply required systems.</li><li> Good knowledge of English &amp; Arabic.</li><li> Valid UAE driving license</li><li> Professional Certifications</li><li> Recommended to have API certifications.<br></li></ul>
