At Emerson, we are committed to the ongoing development of our employees because we know that it’s critical to the success of our company as a truly global entity.<br><br>Inside sales Engineer is based in Dubai and works in conjunction with the Flow Control Sales team for<strong> achieve sales targets</strong> by providing Sales and Technical Support to our internal and external customers in MEA (EPC’S and end users )<br><br>Take ownership for customer enquiries, product quotation requests, proposals and convert quotations into order. Assist the team on customers with sizing, selecting and recommending solutions that matches their application requirements. For business development the role involves travelling, there will be a need to <strong>engage in KOB1&2 project discussion. </strong>To develop the regional business the role involves working in a highly collaborative matrix organization, managing the local partner relationship and leveraging the partner resources.<br><br><strong>Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: <br></strong><ul><li>Responsible for handling project execution for identified KOB1&2 projects of Fisher.</li><li>Process RFQs, prepare and manage Fisher quotations on time to customers </li><li>Provide Applications Engineering, Technical and Pricing Support for MRO business to customers </li><li>Collaborate with Sales and support customers/end user within MEA.</li><li>Perform Technical, Applications and Fisher solutions presentations to customers</li><li>Work with consultants, customers and end users to get Fisher products and solutions pre-specified / pre-selected </li><li>Work with customers and end users to update and modify their engineering standards and specifications to gain preference for Fisher</li><li>Coordinate efforts across FCV management & Project pursuit strategy for KOB1&2 projects (International projects ) Provide forecasts for RFQs </li><li>To support team in optimizing the quote technically and commercially (Minimum Initial Bid) on KOB1&2 jobs to minimize the project cost and identify post order change orders to increase profit margin on projects</li><li>To arrange all Fisher technical documentation and literature for customers</li><li>Support in trouble shooting and finding solutions to customers problems and able to support Site Walks</li><li>Support and work with Sales Team to meet the Sale budget for MEA.</li><li>Provide support to LBPs / End users for Product modifications & Product capabilities through preparing success stories / identifying industry wise application QBR’s.</li><li>Co-ordinate with Project Management / Order Entry / Customer Order Fulfillment (COF) team to provide clean orders to Factories. and over of orders with supporting documents and attend kick off meetings if required</li><li>If required, training new LBP / Rep/Customer engineers on Control Valve Engineering including sizing, selection and pricing using Fisher FIRST 2, product range and how to prepare smart quote – good/better/best strategy and other tools / resources like Fishweb, COF etc.</li><li>Work closely with other Emerson Process Management Divisions for MAC / multi divisional quotes.</li><li>Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products as and when released.</li><li>Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are strictly followed with all business transactions</li><li>Keep up to date with developments in products, industries and market trends. </li><li>Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required including Outside Sales, if required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What do I need to be considered for this role?<br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline(Instrumentation /Chemical Engineeing/Mehnical Engineering )</li><li>Minimum 5 to 8 of experience in handling KOB1&2 projects (especially involved in EPC jobs and value moe than 2.0+$M)</li><li>Fluent in English/Arabic Language-Written and spoken</li><li>Experience in handling inhouse engineering support to customers </li><li>Excellent interpretation skills relating to engineering details & P&ID drawings.</li><li>Ability to make technical decisions based on sound engineering facts & applicable codes</li><li>Experince in handling MEA customers in Saudi arabia ,Abu dhabi & Qatar </li><li>Knowledge on Oil & Gas & Refinery & Petrochemical process and explaining the special applications</li></ul>
