We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Infrastructure &amp; Communication Engineer to join our Partner. As the Infrastructure &amp; Communication Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical network infrastructure and communication systems. This role requires a skilled individual with a strong background in firewall management, network administration, data center management, and system administration.<p><br></p><strong>Job Location:</strong> Jeddah, Saudi Arabia<p><br></p><strong><u>Get To Know Our Partner</u></strong><p><br></p>Our client is a leading company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. working in telecommunications, and they operate in three lines of business, from distribution and retail to after-sales services.<p><br></p><strong><u>What will you do?:</u></strong><ul><li>Firewall Management:</li><ul><li>Manage and configure Sophos XG 330 and Sonic Wall NSA 2600 firewalls.</li><li>Handle interface management, firewall access list policy, and bandwidth management.</li><li>Maintain routing management, VLAN management, and DMZ/NAT definitions.</li><li>Conduct patch and hotfix upgrades, as well as firmware management.</li></ul><li>Wireless Network Management:</li><ul><li>Control bandwidth and ensure unified access control.</li><li>Manage access list assignments.</li></ul><li>Remote Locations Management (Outlets):</li><ul><li>Monitor and maintain connectivity for remote outlets.</li><li>Manage routers and access policies.</li><li>Coordinate with Telecom and ISPs to resolve issues and follow-up on trouble tickets.</li></ul><li>Barracuda Email Security:</li><ul><li>Handle antispam and antivirus pattern management.</li><li>Manage whitelist and blacklist settings.</li><li>Perform pattern upgrades and oversee outbound/inbound content management.</li></ul><li>End-Point Protection (Servers and End-Users):</li><ul><li>Proactively manage and respond to security incidents and attacks.</li><li>Implement disaster prevention measures.</li></ul><li>Data Center Management:</li><ul><li>Monitor component failures and resource usage.</li><li>Configure RAID settings and manage OS/patch updates.</li><li>Oversee racks and cabling assignments, power distribution, UPS, and A/C.</li><li>Manage core and access switches, power generators, and fuel levels.</li><li>Implement regular warm-up procedures and monitor battery, oil, and water levels.</li></ul><li>Server Backup Management:</li><ul><li>Manage Veritas NetBackup jobs and storage.</li><li>Oversee tape management.</li></ul><li>Fire Detection and Protection Management:</li><ul><li>Monitor FM200 gas cylinder and alarm systems.</li><li>Control access to fire protection systems.</li></ul><li>System Administration:</li><ul><li>Administer Exchange Server, Domain, OpManager, and Asset Explorer.</li><li>Manage virtual machines and handle telecom entries for payment requests.</li><li>Oversee SSL certificate management.</li></ul></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What Is Expected From You</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Analytical, Customer Service and Written Communication skills are required.</li><li>Information Technology: High competency in Network Administration, and moderate competency in Software and Database Administration.</li><li>Engineering: Moderate competency in Electronic Communications and Computer Engineering.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and Visio Professional, and moderate competency in Networking Software </li><li>Proficiency in English (Speaking, Reading, Writing).</li><li>Strong planning and scheduling abilities.</li><li>Ability to share knowledge and leverage it effectively.</li><li>Excellent teamwork and communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>We would like to hear from you!
