As Income Auditor, you’ll handle all revenues generated in the hotel are recorded accurately and highlight any discrepancy to the management. Ensure that you produce the daily revenue report and reconcile all revenues against cash banked and account receivable movement each day.<br><br>Your day-to-day:<br><ul><li>Prepare post daily revenue journals and distribute to Outlet Manager and Management.</li><li>Control all food and beverage sales by; correct recording of guest checks, spot check on outlet checks used, ensure all voided checks, corrections and unsettled checks was approved by the Restaurant Supervisor / Manager, monitor the buffet control and banquet control and reconcile total outlet sales to total charges.</li><li>Audit daily collection of the General Cashier’s Summary against the bank slip.</li><li>Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time.</li><li>Ensure that all revenue are recorded, reported daily and all control procedures are in place relating to the income process.</li><li>Perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly controls and audit as per IHG control checklist and report any discrepancy.</li><li>Ensure all rebate and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges.</li><li>All rebate credits must be in accordance with Finance Policy.</li><li>Summarize the rebate credits, miscellaneous charges and paid outs then send to the Financial Controller and General Manager for review.</li><li>Ensure that program involving coupons, certificates and vouchers are adequately controlled.</li><li>Help guests – you’ll be happy to help if someone needs assistance with a request or complaint.</li><li>Cooperate with the company to achieve compliance in Risk Management and FLS standard.</li><li>Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done.<br><br></li></ul>What we need from you:<br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Accounting or Finance.</li><li>2 years related hotel experience with strong customer service skills.</li><li>Advanced math and bookkeeping skills.</li><li>Ability to perform computer-based tasks such as data entry, accounting, word processing, invoicing, and billing.</li><li>Attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Time management and multitasking skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to solve problems and diffuse tense situations.<br><br></li></ul>What you can expect from us:<br><br>We give our people everything they need to succeed.
