<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Accountable for the safe running of his/her department by ensuring that safety is a part of each decision-making process; and be responsible for the safety and care of his/her employees while they are at work. </li><li>Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the In-Flight Service Department. </li><li>Perform any other duties assigned to him/her by DFO. </li><li>Assist with Interviewing and selecting new flight attendants </li><li>Contribute to the development of educational material with regards to line standards </li><li>Ensure that training files and complete documentation records are maintained for each individual cabin crew member concerned. </li><li>Ensure that training and competency checking requirements are completed with minimum disruption to the normal flight operations. </li><li>Develop lines of communication with departments and individuals required to complete assigned duties. </li><li>Attend company staff meetings as required to accomplish assigned projects. </li><li>Monitor crew health, welfare and morale, make recommendation on improvement programs </li><li>Maintain line qualifications as a Company Flight Attendant; check flight attendant and instructor </li><li>Maintain a high level of knowledge in the following areas: Company Policies and Procedures, the Company OM, Authorities Regulations, and other technical data appropriate to Inflight operations. </li><li>Design and implement catering and presentation standards for passengers. </li><li>Ensure that all requirements pertaining to the renewal or upgrading of cabin crew licenses have been complied with.</li><li>Maintain an Open-Door Policy with all company employees </li><li>Develop SOPs for cabin crew and aircraft types. </li><li>Respect and demonstrate all company policies, procedures, mission statement and Guiding Principles </li><li>Develop relationships that encourage trust, mutual respect and a cooperative team spirit </li><li>Ensure that flight attendants receive the support and guidance necessary to deliver superior inflight service resulting in customer satisfaction. </li><li>Not to intimidate or bully any subordinates whether on duty or off duty. </li><li>Complete all necessary post flight documentation expeditiously including Safety and Occurrence Reports </li><li>Processing and actioning of the monthly crew certificate validity report.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a flight attendant </li><li>In-depth knowledge of flight safety procedures, government regulations, and customer service standards.</li><li>Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.</li><li>Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure efficient management of flight operations.</li></ul><p><br></p>
