The Company delivers the majority of the country’s crude oil production and natural gas supply.<p><br></p>Purpose of the Job<p><br></p>As a Data Scientist, you will build models and perform analysis with advanced Analytics techniques<p><br></p><ul><li> To draw insights from large or complex data sets, and build platforms for others to analyse data sets</li><li> To be crucial in designing, building and implementing analytical solutions, acting as a Data Science and Advanced Analytics expert</li><li> To help drive improvements in PDO by investigating various topics and developing tools to improve business as usual</li><li> To be part of the DCoE, and be co-located with the use case team you are working</li></ul><p><br></p>Education & Experience<p><br></p><ul><li> 7+ years experience in a statistical and/or data science role.</li><li> BSc in computer science, Data Science, statistics, or operations research or related technical discipline.</li><li> Expertise in advanced analytical techniques such as descriptive statistical modelling and algorithms, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, reinforcement learning, optimization, data visualization, pattern recognition, cluster analysis and</li></ul><p><br></p>segmentation analysis.<p><br></p>Main Responsibilities<p><br></p><ul><li> Apply strong expertise in machine-learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build the next-generation analytics.</li><li> Drive data modelling and testing during projects</li><li> Define criteria for monitoring integrity of data modelling during projects</li><li> Carry out quality assurance of analytics tools and methods used in projects</li><li> Develop best practices for analytics (models, standards, tools)</li><li> Help set HR standards for data scientists (recruiting, training, career management)</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Skills Required</u></strong><p><br></p>Other Job Details
