IACS (Industrial Automation Control Systems) Engineer
Job Description
Summary
- Support Water Business Units during the design, construction, commissioning and procurement in ongoing projects inside the OT Space.
- Monitor & enforce that ongoing projects follow water sector OT Employer Requirements.
- Give feedback to the OT Lead Engineer to improve OT Employer Requirements according to the learned lessons during project execution to improve the quality and applicability of them.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Projects Review in terms of Operational Technologies (OT), including but not restricted to:
- Instrumentation.
- Automation Infrastructure.
- SCADA Systems
- Telemetry Systems.
- CCTV / Access Control.
- Fire Detection and Fighting System.
- Support by providing input and feedback to the OT Lead Engineer into OT Strategy, Guidelines and Specifications.
Background, Skills & Experience
- 10+ Year of experience designing and commissioning projects related with IACS.
- Strong background in Instrumentation related with the Water Sector.
- Strong background in Industrial Monitoring and Control Systems such as PLCs and SCADA Systems.
- Strong background in Industrial Protocol such as Profinet, Profibus DP, Profibus PA/DP and OPC UA.
- Strong background in Industrial Telemetry System such as Radio and 4G LTE M2M communications.
- Strong background designing CCTV, Control Access Systems and Fire Detection & Firefighting Systems.
- Strong background in Water&Wastewater Instrumentation & Process.
- Desire background in Industrial Cybersecurity.
- Strong time management and task organizing skills, familiar with agile project methodologies and capable of supporting multiple initiatives in parallel
- Innovative and good research skills:
- Good analytical and logical thinking;
- Good communicator;
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (Automation).
