<strong>Summary</strong><p><br></p>As a Hydrogen Technoeconomic and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Analyst, your primary responsibility is to evaluate the technical and economic impact of hydrogen projects and technologies. You will perform technoeconomic analyses to assess the cost-effectiveness of hydrogen production, storage, distribution, and utilization processes.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Conduct cost modeling and analysis for hydrogen and e-fuels production methods and use cases (from storage to mobility solutions) </li><li> Evaluate capital costs, operational expenses, and revenue streams associated with hydrogen projects. </li><li> Identify cost drivers, conduct sensitivity analyses, and provide recommendations for cost optimization. </li><li> Assess greenhouse gas emissions, resource consumption, and other environmental indicators for hydrogen technologies. </li><li> Compare the LCA results of hydrogen with other energy alternatives to identify potential environmental benefits, including carbon credits or access to ESG funds </li><li> Gather data from various sources, including literature, research studies, industry databases, and NEOM projects to support technoeconomic and LCA analyses. </li><li> Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical methods and software tools. </li><li> Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate different aspects of hydrogen projects into the analysis. </li><li> Explore potential future trends and uncertainties to inform strategic decision-making. </li><li> Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate analysis results to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory bodies. </li><li> Assist in ensuring that hydrogen projects and technologies comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards, as well as identifying required incentives to accelerate and improve the production and use of green hydrogen and its applications </li><li> Provide insights and data to support the development of hydrogen-related policies and initiatives. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Background, Skills</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> – Degree (from Bachelor’s to Ph.D.) in engineering, environmental science, economics, or a related field. </li><li> -A business degree is a plus </li><li> – Knowledge of technoeconomic analysis methodologies and tools </li><li> – Familiarity with life cycle assessment methodologies and LCA software. </li><li> – Understanding of hydrogen production, storage, distribution, and utilization technologies. </li><li> – Knowledge of environmental impact assessment, greenhouse gas accounting, and sustainability principles. </li><li> – Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. </li><li> – Experience in the hydrogen industry, renewable energy sector, or related fields is advantageous.</li></ul>
