Job Description

About the role:

As HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Heating ventilation, Air conditioning and refrigeration Systems.

  • Read, understand and interpret HVAC drawings and material safety data sheet in order to administer proper asset maintenance requirements.

  • Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding on time and material requirements.

  • Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate.

  • Maintains technical proficiency in the Airport HVAC assets by complying with the Asset Management process.

  • Practicing standard housekeeping and safe working procedures as per given instructions.

  • To give guidance training and opportunity to work independently to helpers during on-going maintenance/repair jobs.

  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About you:

  • High School Qualification with Minimum 1 year of job-related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent with no prior job-related work experience

  • Technical knowledge related to the preventive and corrective maintenance of heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and works safety requirements.

  • Ability to communicate in English language both in spoken and written.
