<strong>A little taste of your day-to-day:<br><br></strong>Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:<br><ul><li>Is responsible for providing orientation sessions to new staff, informing them about Hotel policies and procedures, structure, code of conduct, and other relevant information to their on-boarding.</li><li>Maintains and updates annual and computerized employee records, legal documents, policies and procedures and other personnel related matters.</li><li>Ensures compensation and benefits are in line with the Hotel‘s internal policies and procedures and updated Government Regulations.</li><li>Produces the Monthly Closing Report according to the department’s standards.</li><li>Carries out the opening and closing of employee files.</li><li>Listens to grievances of employees and assists his/her senior supervisor in implementing the appropriate disciplinary procedures.</li><li>Assists in the recruitment of colleagues by creating and developing job descriptions, preparing catchy and out-of-the-box advertisements for vacant positions in the Hotel, screening application forms, short-listing the candidates, sending follow-up letters to applicants and finally interviewing and selecting them.</li><li>Promotes diversity and quality as part of the Hotel’s culture. </li><li>Handling all the aspects of finishing and renewing the expatriates’ papers.</li><li>Takes care of the expatriates lodging and follows-up on any maintenance needed, as well as prepares checklists for new comers and leavers to the building.</li><li>Prepares job offer packages (offer letter, summary of benefits…) and ensures all documentation required for recruitment is provided before commencement of employment.</li><li>Submits contracts expire/renewal lists on a monthly basis to Department heads.</li><li>Assists in handling any staff complaints or problems promptly and ensures that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to the Human Resources Manager.</li><li>Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We need from you:<br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in General Management or Human Resources Management or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.</li><li>3 to 4 years previous experience in a similar role.</li><li>Fluency in Arabic and English. French is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication and writing skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Integrity and friendly approach.</li><li>Microsoft Office Tools.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What you can expect from us:<br><br></strong>We give our people everything they need to succeed.
