<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE / ROLE</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span>The objective of HR Researcher is to carry out research related to Human Resources including – changes in local legislations, labor laws and industry best practices, to support effective decision making and the design and development of effective organization policies and procedures. The position holder is also responsible to support the HR Supervisor with various organization level HR initiatives/ projects.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Conduct any HR related research including literature reviews, reports, professional publications, journals etc. as requested by HR Supervisor</span></li><li><span>Monitor and document changes in the Qatar labor law / HR law and analyze implication on Qatar Post. Prepare reports for the HR Supervisor, Head of HR and Director – Human Capital </span></li><li><span>Prepare reports for submission to the Board of Directors and Chairman &amp; MD as required by the Director – Human Capital</span></li><li><span>Keep track of latest HR trends in the GCC, or globally and document best practices</span></li><li><span>Pull out employee related reports from the ERP system for e.g. Attendance Report, Time Sheet etc. and compile data, conduct statistical and analytical studies of data </span></li><li><span>Assist the HR supervisor with employee engagement and all other HR initiatives – like C&amp;B update, PMS etc.- by researching and gathering best practices data.</span></li><li><span>Support the recruitment activities for Qatar Post by conducting basic research for candidates, recruitment service providers etc.</span></li><li><span>Perform all other duties as delegated by the HR Supervisor, or as per business requirements</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><span>Excellent knowledge about the Qatar Labor Law and HR Law</span></li><li><span>Excellent communications and presentation skills</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical skills</span></li><li><span>Fluency in English and Arabic is required.</span></li><li><span>Expert in usage of MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel)</span></li><li><span>Good time management skills</span></li><li><span>Attention to detail.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work in a small to medium sized team</span></li></ul><p><br></p>
