<p>Job Title: <strong>HR Payroll Officer</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Reports to: HR Manager</p><p><br></p><p>Job Overview:</p><p><br></p><p>The HR Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing the payroll process. They will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure that payroll policies and procedures are up to date and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The HR Payroll Officer will also play a key role in managing employee benefits and deductions.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversee the payroll process, including processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments</li><li>Work with the HR Manager to develop and implement payroll policies and procedures that align with the company’s goals and values</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll</li><li>Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off</li><li>Manage employee deductions, such as garnishments, and other payroll deductions</li><li>Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including payroll summaries and other financial reports</li><li>Work with HR staff to ensure that employee data is accurate and up to date</li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits</li><li>Stay up to date with payroll and benefits trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to policies and procedures</li><li>Work with finance staff to ensure that payroll and benefits expenses are accurately recorded and reported</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in HR management, finance, accounting, or a related field</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in payroll, with a focus on payroll processing and benefits administration</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software</li><li>CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) certification preferred</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
