Overview

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist with experience in recruitment. The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting candidates to onboarding successful hires.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be involved in the implementation and administration of a variety of HR duties, procedures, systems and programs, such as training, employee development, new employee on-boarding/ off-boarding, induction etc.

The specific role will be stationed at our offices in Riyadh, KSA in the Human Resources Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Assists in recruiting, interviewing and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants to open positions.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Assists in implementing onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Utilizes various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, etc) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Screens resumes and conducts initial phone interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinates and conducts in-person or virtual interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Assists in evaluating candidates’ skills, experience, and potential through assessments and interviews.
  • Makes job offers, negotiates compensation packages, and handles the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Assists in handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Manager.
  • Assists in examining employee disciplinary issues, terminations, and investigations.
  • Assists in maintaining compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; assists in reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Keeps informed of and maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University Graduate in Business Administration or Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in an HR related position
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understanding of diversity principles.
  • Hands on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS.
  • Understanding of IT concepts in HR systems and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Knowledge of KSA labor legislation
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Teamwork skills. Desire to work in a team with a results driven approach
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and general analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Professional English language both verbally and in writing
