<p>We are a new factory in Dammam looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Overseeing the recruitment and registration process both within the company and with government bodies (e.g. registration with GOSI/taaminat, etc…).</li><li>Negotiating the details of each personnel’s contract including but not limited to allowance for housing, transport, food, insurance. </li><li>Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee benefits as necessary. </li><li>Drawing up written contracts inclusive of all necessary details. </li><li>Managing visas and related paperwork for foreigners as necessary.</li><li>Visiting appropriate government offices as required. </li><li>Following up and execution of visa renewals, contract renewals and other re-registration as necessary.</li><li>Purchasing of plane tickets for staff according to the rules of the company. </li><li>Keeping track of the total holidays used per employee. </li><li>Monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance, such as attendance and sick leave.</li><li>Finding staff housing, overseeing repairs as necessary and managing the budget.</li><li>Ensuring our company’s procedures comply with employment regulations such as with the issuance of warnings and contract termination. </li><li>Management of end of service and contract termination</li><li>Management of behavioral issues at work and organizing appropriate training as necessary and given the situation. </li><li>Learning and using the relevant software used by our company for HR purposes. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree. </li><li>A solid understanding of the key principles of employment law in Saudi Arabia</li><li>Excellent communication skills , including the ability to listen and help resolve staff issues. </li><li>Ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary meetings or staff conflicts. </li><li>Knowledge of relevant computer systems and software programs. </li><li>Having a car is preferable.</li></ul>
