Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting for an electro-mechanical company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is looking for a qualified HSEQ Manager to oversee all site QHSE activities.<p><br></p>The responsibilities of the role include:<p><br></p><ul><li> Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice. </li><li> Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvements </li><li> Act as Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters. </li><li> Liaise with Customers and Supply Chain, regarding QHSE matters, ensuring their expectations are met </li><li> Updating the HSE register book based on daily observations, risk assessments, and training. </li><li> Planning, presenting, and documenting weekly or monthly safety meetings as required. </li><li> Maintaining and monitoring employee training records for re-training and updates. </li><li> Ensuring an adequate supply of resources on site and reporting any shortfalls to the project manager. </li><li> Reviewing contractors safety records and documents to ensure regular maintenance of major construction equipment. </li><li> Ensuring that contractor laborers on site follow safety procedures and reporting any deficiencies to the project manager. </li><li> Closely monitoring site activities, issuing non-compliance notices, and submitting reports to the project manager. </li><li> Suggesting process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency and improve communication within the department. </li><li>Developing all necessary documentation, operational checks, and reports for HSE standards, including corrective and preventive measures. </li><li> Staying updated on the latest trends and technology related to administrative functions and suggesting ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the HSE department. </li><li> Handling confidential or sensitive information or issues. </li><li> Ensuring accurate and timely communication with relevant parties and making arrangements for on-site and off-site conferences, meetings, and special events. </li><li> Submitting weekly reports to the client. </li><li> Taking responsibility for safety training and orientation of newly hired employees and contractors. </li></ul><p><br></p>Requirements- Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering<p><br></p><ul><li> Minimum 10+ years of experience </li><li> Experience in the Electric transmission and distribution </li><li> OSHAD Certified </li><li> Strong leadership and management skills </li></ul><p><br></p>BenefitsCompetitive Salary as per market standards + Benefits<p><br></p>
