- Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, risks, and non-compliance issues in the workplace.
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and management on HSE matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives, and recommend improvements as needed.
- Coordinate and participate in HSE training programs and workshops for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSE activities, incidents, inspections, and training.
- Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes, prepare incident reports, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with new regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in HSE, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive HSE culture by promoting employee engagement, participation, and accountability in HSE initiatives.
