Provides professional HSE support, guidance and support to all AFMG entities.<br><br><strong>What you will do:<br><br></strong><strong>Responsible for:<br></strong><ul><li>Manages the development, continual improvement and independent certification of the AFMG HSEQ management systems and FLS compliance.</li><li> Acts as the HSE Department lead on HSE within design, construction and new site mobilization.</li><li> Provides centralized HSE services to the wider AFMG and external stakeholders.</li><li>Manages the delivery of the HSEQ Management System across AFMG</li><li> Develops and assesses pre-qualification and assessment questionnaires to ensure safety considerations are factored into all new AFMG & PLEX projects, and all tier 1 contractors meet required standards and safety criteria.</li><li> Manages HSE budgets and expenditure to ensure optimal financial performance</li><li> Drives an incident reduction strategy to ensure all HSE risks are managed</li><li> Drive and manages the FLS compliance standards, closely working with the Technical and FM teams.</li><li>Develops and delivers the relevant health and safety internal training program, in specific disciplines when required.</li><li>Participates in the ongoing development and scenario testing of the AFMG crisis management plan across all AFMG BU’s.</li><li>Participates in various external committees and forums to influence a best practice approach to safety and risk management throughout the leisure industry.</li><li>Manages the development, implementation ands continual improvement and promotion of the AFMG SAFETY digital HSE and Compliance system.</li><li>Manages the incident reporting and investigation process, ensuing all incident investigation are carried out commensurate with the risk.</li><li> Analyses statistical data to ensure key trends are identified, communicated and HSE process developed to ensure it remains fit for purpose.</li><li> Provide HSE and FLS compliance reporting<br><br></li></ul><strong>Job Context:<br><br></strong>Experience in operations in leisure, retail, mall and real estate properties. Experience in handling contractors and/or service providers to ensure that the mall is running efficiently and bridge the gap between clients and service providers<br><br><strong>Required skills to be successsful:<br><br></strong><strong>Job-specific skills:<br></strong><ul><li>Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred)</li><li>Interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills</li><li>Excellent strategy formulation and implementation skills<br><br></li></ul><strong>What equips you for the role:<br><br></strong><strong>Minimum Qulaifications and Knowledge:<br></strong><ul><li>Higher Diploma in relevant HSE Related Engineering field and/ or Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) or equivalent is essential</li><li> NEBOSH General Certificate</li><li>Member of IOSH, or similar professional institute.</li><li>Training qualification is essential, ideally IOSH/NEBOSH approved trainer<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Experience:<br></strong><ul><li> 8-10 years’ experience in HSE and or FLS risk management for a large multinational businesses/consultancy<br><br></li></ul><strong>About Al-Futtaim Malls<br><br></strong>Al-Futtaim Malls provides development and asset management expertise, specializing in building retail-led super regional malls in prime locations across MENA and beyond.
