Join WSP, and you’ll be at the heart of a team of international experts all dedicated to growing and sharing their expertise and working on projects that transform society for all of us.<p><br></p>We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team for a prestigious infrastructure construction supervision project in Madinah.<p><br></p>Job Summary: As an HSE Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental standards are maintained on our infrastructure construction project in Madinah. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols, conducting inspections, and providing guidance to the project team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Your primary objective will be to create a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project and minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.<p><br></p>Your new role, what’s involved?<p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, policies, and procedures for the construction project, aligned with local regulations and company standards. </li><li>Lead and supervise a team of HSE professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. </li><li>Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety protocols, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions. </li><li>Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to integrate safety considerations into project planning, design, and execution. </li><li>Monitor and enforce adherence to safety rules, regulations, and procedures on the construction site, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). </li><li>Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and developing preventive measures to mitigate risks. </li><li>Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on matters related to HSE compliance, inspections, permits, and reporting. </li><li>Establish and maintain effective communication channels to promote HSE awareness, including safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs for project personnel. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs through key performance indicators, data analysis, and regular reporting to management. </li><li>Stay updated on industry best practices, new regulations, and emerging technologies in HSE to drive continuous improvement and innovation. </li></ul><p><br></p>We’d love to hear from you if you have:<p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is desirable. </li><li>Proven experience (minimum 8 years) as an HSE Manager in the construction industry, preferably with infrastructure projects. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of local safety regulations, international standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 14001), and best practices in construction safety management. </li><li>Should be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineer (SCE) under a safety profession. </li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team of HSE professionals. </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, equipment, and associated hazards in infrastructure projects. </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. </li><li>Proficiency in conducting inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and preparing detailed reports. </li><li>Experience in implementing and managing safety management systems, including incident reporting, data analysis, and corrective action tracking. </li><li>Certified First Aid and CPR training. </li><li>Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable. </li><li>KSA National. </li></ul><p><br></p>What’s in it for you?<p><br></p>As well as rewarding you with competitive pay, WSP offers standard benefits including first class medical cover, paid professional subscriptions.<p><br></p>Be you, be happy – we strive to have a friendly and inclusive culture which respects and maximizes the contribution individuals can bring to WSP.
