<strong><u>Roles And Responsibilities<br><br></u></strong>The HSE manager role involves the execution duties to the highest possible standards. This will require but not be limited to the following key functions:<br><ul><li>Carrying out tasks / responsibilities to the highest standards ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements. </li><li>Implementing and monitoring initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the health, safety and environmental services and delivery.</li><li>Developing and retaining a high quality workforce in a fair manner, in line with the organization strategy. </li><li>Prepare health, safety and environmental training manuals and provide training support to the project. </li><li>Being proactive in the design and implementation of initiatives for continuous improvement in business efficiencies.</li><li>Providing advice, information and training for the project management team across all aspects of the health, safety and environmental management system to ensure the highest result.</li><li>Conduct internal audits as required by the project / client and recommending remedial action in line with clients requirements.</li><li>Actively seek and implement strategies to improve the clientβs position in regard to return and value.</li><li>Identifying and resolving disputes quickly and reasonably.</li><li>Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with client representatives, consultants, contractors and adjoining property owners.</li><li>Managing and coordinating the project handover phase with contractors, client contractors, tenants and building managers.</li><li>Receiving and reviewing detailed reports on the project from the site delivery team.</li><li>Establishing formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client<br></li></ul><strong><u>Requirements<br></u></strong><ul><li>Must have a engineering degree from the relevant field Bachelor Degree and NEBOSH International General certificate.</li><li>Must possess at least 10 – 15 years of experience in HSE</li><li>Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision.</li><li>Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.</li></ul>
