Our client, a leading financial services firm based in DIFC with a strong brand and reputation in the MENA region are seeking an experienced HR Director as part of their continued growth. This individual will lead the HR function and ensure the development and well-being of the regional workforce.
The position will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the CEO and executive leadership team, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, developing, and executing HR initiatives that align with the business goals and values. Previous experience in Financial Services would be a plus along with strong experience in strategic HR initiatives, employee engagement, policies & procedures and overall compliance to drive the growth and success of the business.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and objectives.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to executive leadership, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
- Identify HR challenges and opportunities, proposing innovative solutions to enhance overall organizational performance.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition process, ensuring a diverse, high-performing, and skilled workforce.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies, tapping into various channels to attract top talent in the financial services industry.
- Implement comprehensive onboarding programs to support new employees during their assimilation into the company culture.
- Employee Engagement and Development:
- Create and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Champion learning and development programs to nurture employees’ skills and professional growth.
- Collaborate with managers to identify and address training needs and career development opportunities for employees.
- Performance Management:
- Establish performance management systems that drive accountability, continuous feedback, and excellence.
- Guide managers in conducting performance evaluations and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of performance management processes.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, regularly reviewing compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.
- Proactively address employee relations issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
