<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>OVERVIEW<br><br></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span><span><span><span><span><span>The HR Consultant, Succession Planning provides the succession planning team with expert advice on the best policies, practices, and procedures. They should feel comfortable with developing training programs, facilitating content to high potential leaders, and coaching/ consulting leadership teams in their projects.<br><br></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><br><br></p><p><span><span><span><span><span><span>RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Assess the workplace to identify staff issues and provide effective solutions.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Provide training and development by setting up seminars and workshops.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Establish employee succession plans.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Assess HR analytics to determine the efficiency of new policies and procedures.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Support leadership development and succession planning program design, strategy, and implementation in coordination with Leadership and Succession leaders.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Research and support creation of leadership development and succession planning policies, processes, procedures, tools, and guidelines.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Provide content and work with marketing to communicate leadership and succession programs.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Develop work plans for specific leadership initiatives. Support creation of succession plans and programs across markets/functions.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Assess program effectiveness through evaluations and other measurements to ensure quality outcomes.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Integrate leadership development and succession plan with other Talent Management functions (e. g., performance management, org effectiveness, talent management for high potentials).</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Receive, evaluate and seek approval for requests for ad hoc leadership development outside of the established programs.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Manage established selection process for leadership development opportunities. Facilitate training as part of formal leadership developmental program.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Knowledge of leadership development, succession planning, and industry leading practices.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Knowledge of Human Resources policies, processes, and procedures.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Working knowledge of Human Resources policies and guidelines.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li></ul><p><br><br></p><p><span><span><span><span><span><span>EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE<br><br></span></span></span></span></span></span></p><ul><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another relevant field.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field preferred.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>7+ years of experience in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition with an extensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>3+ years of experience in leadership development.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Experience in developing leadership development and succession planning programs.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Experience in strategic workforce planning.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Experience in the energy sector is preferred.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Excellent project management skills.
