These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. We value the passion and enthusiasm of our colleagues, and encourage you to share your passion when you work with us.<br><br><strong>A little taste of your day-to-day<br></strong><ul><li>Supervises the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures</li><li>Recommends changes to the standards and trainings on an on-going basis</li><li>Maintains a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems</li><li>Opens and closes the shift and ensure effective shift hand over</li><li>Distributes and collects keys</li><li>Manages all incoming and outgoing calls</li><li>Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known </li><li>Demonstrates co-operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments</li><li>Communicates well to ensure effective shift hand-overs</li><li>Actively participates in and conduct organised meetings</li><li>Interacts with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promotes team spirit and ensures effective two way communication</li><li>Builds and maintains positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to anticipate their needs</li><li>Takes action to address these needs in order to exceed their expectations</li><li>Creates a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customers</li><li>Adheres to hotel brand standards</li><li>Maintains a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests</li><li>Assists guests and escorts them to locations within the hotel at their request</li><li>Maintains knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel in order to recognize and respond to guests needs</li><li>Maintains current Hotel information to be able to provide information to guests</li><li>Work effectively with customers and colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries</li><li>Work to understand and consider the global nature of the business<br><br></li></ul><strong>What We Need From You<br></strong><ul><li>Good level of spoken/written English</li><li>Flexibility in shifts & tasks</li><li>Cares for the employees</li><li>Attention to details</li><li>Knowledge about budget (PNL)</li><li>Minimum one year of experience in a similar environment (4-5* hotel)<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Can Expect From Us<br><br></strong>We’ll reward all your hard work with a great salary and benefits – including a uniform, great room discount and superb training.<br><br>Join us and you’ll become part of the family – and like all families, all our individual team members share some winning characteristics.
