NEOM will be a hub for innovation, where established global businesses and emerging players can research, incubate, and commercialize groundbreaking technologies to accelerate human progress.<p><br></p>As a Workforce Planning Professional in NEOM Health &amp; wellbeing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective allocation of human resources within the healthcare system. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic workforce plans that align with the organization’s goals and objectives, while also addressing current and future staffing needs. You will analyze workforce data, collaborate with various stakeholders, and provide recommendations to optimize workforce utilization and enhance the delivery of healthcare services.<p><br></p><strong> Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Workforce Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of the regional healthcare workforce, including assessing current staffing levels, skills, and demographics, as well as forecasting future workforce needs based on healthcare trends and population projections. </li><li> Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop comprehensive workforce plans that align with the regional health authority’s strategic objectives. These plans should address workforce gaps, succession planning, and workforce development strategies </li><li> Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with HR personnel, department heads, healthcare administrators, and other relevant stakeholders to understand workforce challenges and priorities, and to ensure workforce plans are well-coordinated and integrated </li><li> Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain a skilled and diverse healthcare workforce, including exploring innovative approaches for hiring, onboarding, and talent development. </li><li> Performance and Productivity Analysis: Analyze workforce productivity metrics and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that resources are utilized efficiently. </li><li> Workforce Training and Development: Collaborate with training and development teams to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs to enhance the competency of the healthcare workforce. </li><li> Succession Planning: Develop succession planning frameworks to identify and groom future leaders and ensure continuity in critical healthcare roles. </li><li> Policy Development: Stay informed about labor laws, healthcare regulations, and industry standards that may impact workforce planning. Contribute to the development of workforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices. </li><li> Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date workforce data, utilizing HR information systems and other tools to support informed decision-making. </li><li> Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning initiatives and make recommendations for improvements to optimize the allocation of human resources. </li><li> Support in the management and delivery of sector projects, as required, </li><li> Support in the preparation reports for leadership on the current and forecasted progress/completion of key assets and initiatives, with executive levels insights on key assets, requirements, and risks </li><li> Plan and lead assigned tasks and projects, and proactively monitor and mitigate risks </li><li> Provide periodic reports regarding project progress, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans </li><li> Actively take part of and contribute in workshops and activities related to health system design activities </li><li> Support on administrative tasks as required for contract management </li><li> Assist in developing scope of work documents to support new contract establishment or renewal of existing contracts </li><li> Support in monitoring and evaluation of contract delivery and project performance </li><li> Support in all external communications activities (incl. internal/external marketing of the sector, maintaining promotional materials, developing strategic communications, etc.) </li><li> Support in sector or division meetings, preparing meeting inputs (identifying discussion points, etc) and gathering input and feedback during and after meeting as it relates to strategy, planning, risks, etc. </li><li> Collate stakeholders’ feedback on issues, challenges and unmet requirements and develop action plans </li><li> Act as a role model for the sector in interaction with other sectors and departments </li><li> Assist team to perform their operations in accordance with set policies and procedures </li><li> Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Background, Skills &amp; Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Proven experience in workforce planning, human resources, or healthcare management, preferably in a large healthcare organization or regional health authority. </li><li> Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to draw meaningful insights from workforce data. </li><li> Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies, talent management, and HR practices in a healthcare context. </li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. </li><li> Ability to think strategically and align workforce planning initiatives with broader organizational goals. </li><li> Proficiency in HR information systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li> Understanding of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and workforce-related challenges. </li><li> Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement. </li><li> Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. </li><li> Master’s in public health, business administration, medicine or related topics is beneficial</li></ul>
