Job Description

Facility Checks and Assessment:<br>- Develop reports indicating the results of all health and safety checks conducted on SANS facilities and provide recommendations for improvement / remedial action as needed<br>- Conduct awareness sessions to maximize awareness on health and safety activities and issue safety instructions when necessary to resolve safety violations<br>- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure safety, health and environment standards and processes are met for all facilities.<br>- Communicate any safety highlight with employees as required within concerned geographic area.<br>Incident Management &amp; Control<br>- Develop reports including the incidents that occurred, the facility in which the incident occurred and record the time of the incident<br>- Propose methods to manage potential hazardous conditions and practices in systems, equipment, facilities or processes<br>- Conduct investigation process as necessary when incident occurs<br>Compliance Control &amp; Management<br>- Ensure that all facilities are complying with all health and safety regulations<br>- Ensure that all facilities are complying with all requirements of the law and instructions issued by the Occupational Health &amp; Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) project group<br>- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and the implementation of safety initiatives within SANS Directorates to enhance the overall safety of systems and facilities<br>- Follow up with concerned departments to resolve failure and problems affecting health, safety and environment.<br>Policies, Processes and Procedures<br>- Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures<br>- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement<br>Skills<br>- Operational Excellence<br>- Safety Awareness<br>- Teamwork<br>- Analytical Thinking<br>- Communication<br>- Safety Audit &amp; Control<br>- Safety Promotion<br>- Health &amp; Safety Law<br>- Incident Management<br>- Safety Risk Assessment<br>Education and Certifications<br>- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is required<br>- NEBOSH SS – NEBOSH IG – IOSH – OSHA<br>Experience:<br>- 6 to 9 years of experience in facility / safety administration.<br>Location<br>- Jeddah
