<p>My client are leaders in the aviation industry. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role: Head of Value Stream Cargo</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Location: Abu Dhbai, UAE</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>You will </strong>ensure the delivery of value to the Cargo division through technology initiatives that enable business benefits such as revenue growth, cost optimisation and improved customer experience. Time, budget and quality are key performance indicators of delivery.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• Build a strategic technology and digital roadmap based on the business priorities of the Cargo division</p><p>• Take a leadership role in shaping the Cargo product strategy with the relevant Cargo business stakeholders.</p><p>• Responsible for the delivery of the entire Cargo technology roadmap across the entire application and infrastructure portfolio</p><p>• Lead teams of delivery experts, project managers and if delivery is agile: release train engineers, scrum masters etc.</p><p>• Responsible for the on time and on budget delivery of initiatives, within agreed scope and quality measures</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p>• 10+ years of Program / Portfolio Management experience in delivering complex projects and solutions is mandatory</p><p>• 5+ years Cargo experience is required, either in a function in Cargo, or in a technology function related to Cargo</p><p>• Strong knowledge of project, program and portfolio management practices, following both agile and waterfall methodologies as well as a good understanding of product management principles is essential</p><p>• In depth understanding of the Cargo business and its specifics around Sales, Revenue Planning, Pricing, Optimization, Handling, Loading, Tracking and Accounting</p><p>• 3+ years of experience following Agile at scale is beneficial, i.e. agile applied at a portfolio, value stream or program level. Experience in executing PI planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ART) is beneficial</p><p>• Advanced knowledge of airline regulations as well as EU compliance, with a strong focus on GDPR and Data Privacy</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent is mandatory.
