Head of Transportation, Installation & Hook-up

Our client, a major LNG operator in Qatar, requires a Head of Transportation, Installation &amp; Hook-up for an offshore – onshore Mega LNG project on a 3-year renewal contract basis.<p><br></p>This role will be reporting to Offshore Construction and Installation Division Manager – Topsides &amp; STPs.<p><br></p>In the project assignment role, is responsible for the below .<p><br></p><ul><li> Must be able to execute work both Onshore and Offshore as needed including rotational assignments as required. </li><li> Interfaces with Company Marine Warranty Surveyor. </li><li> Leads all Installation &amp; Hook-up requirements of the Project, to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule. </li><li> Accountable for Topsides &amp; STP transportation, Installation and hook-up work produced by the Project. </li><li> Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration. </li></ul><p><br></p>Suitable candidates will require an Engineering Degree with extensive Offshore experience in a Supervisory Role. Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation and OPITO certification is considered a plus.<p><br></p><ul><li> Recommended 10+ years of experience in discipline with at least 8 years demonstrated senior engineering, installation and hook up experience in similar Topside major capital projects. </li><li> Offshore experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry </li><li> Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore LNG production facilities </li><li> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT </li><li> Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards </li></ul><p><br></p>On offer is a competitive daily rate with monthly living and transport allowances on a 12 x 2 weeks rotation schedule with flights provided.
