Job Description
We are pleased to be partnering with one of the region’s most exciting FinTech scale-ups on the recruitment of a Head of Technology
You will work closely with the Senior Leadership team and report to the CEO. You have extensive leadership experience in engineering and have worked in the payments sector.
Your Responsibilities
- The frontend, backend, and mobile development teams will be under your direction as the head of engineering.
- You are responsible for organizing their efforts to make sure that all development is completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.
- Make a detailed plan for monitoring and evaluating progress to determine whether short- and long-term goals were achieved.
- Shaping and building the engineering team
Your skills and experience
- Knowledge with backend programming languages like Python and Django (Flask)
- Knowledgeable about frontend programming languages like React, Vue, or Angular
- Understanding of JS, Magento, and/or Shopify.
- Expert in identification and authentication solutions, cloud and server-side technologies, API development, and integration.
- Understanding of AWS and GCP
- Strong and effective communication skills are a MUST, as is Payments experience.
- Knowledge of developing secure, fail-safe systems and architecture
