Please note, this role is open to <strong>Saudi Nationals Only</strong>.<p><br></p>The Head of Project Risk will lead the identification, management, and ownership of risk within the project to actively reduce risk exposure and ensure the successful delivery of the project.<p><br></p><strong>You will</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Formulate, agree, and communicate risk and/or compliance standards and strategies and monitor and oversee their implementation throughout the project life cycle</li><li> Own and manage a risk register and forward programme of risk management, and ensure that this is maintained with input from relevant internal and external stakeholders</li><li> Work with external stakeholders where necessary to promote the joint evaluation of risks with contractors and suppliers to establish a basis for risk sharing and identification</li><li> Lead value management activities, including value management workshops to actively seek efficiencies in cost and schedule</li><li> Work across all of the project to provide critical specialist expertise in risk management and provide support and challenge as required</li><li> Lead a small team of specialists to influence a large number of stakeholders throughout the organisation; provide guidance, support and mentoring where required</li><li> Interface and coordinate with the Change Manager to identify changes to be notified.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Here’s What You’ll Need</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience</li><li> Discipline specific professional registration preferred (CIBSE, ICE, etc)</li><li> Track record of success in a project risk management role within large scale, complex infrastructure projects</li><li> Proven technical ability in risk management and risk management approaches, with a sound commercial understanding of large-scale construction projects, preferably with a Risk Management qualification</li><li> Previous experience applying risk management concepts and procedures to large scale projects, and providing specialist impartial advice to internal stakeholders</li><li> Support project teams in estimating the quantitative cost and schedule impacts of risks for Monte Carlo modelling</li><li> Able to build appropriate cost, schedule models in a number of applications Knowledge of the appropriateness and use of modelling techniques e.g. cost impact distributions, qualitative verses quantitative</li><li> Risk modelling software e.g. ARM, RiskHive, Predict, @Risk, PRA or similar</li><li> Able to explain the results of risk assessments to non-specialists</li><li> Competent with Excel</li><li> Pro-active and decisive</li><li> Flexible to changing requirements</li><li> Ability to work to tight deadlines</li><li> Ability to motivate and impart knowledge</li><li> Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels, with the ability to tactfully challenge existing procedures to support best practice risk management.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Jacobs.
