MDLBEAST is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as the Head of Programming for MDLBEAST Radio. As the Head of Programming, you will play a crucial role in shaping the content and direction of our radio station.<p><br></p>In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the programming strategy, curating playlists, and managing a team of talented DJs and producers. You will work closely with the Head of Radio to identify emerging artists and trends, ensuring that MDLBEAST Radio remains at the forefront of the music industry.<p><br></p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and implement a programming strategy for MDLBEAST Radio that aligns with our brand and target audience</li><li>Curate and update playlists to ensure a diverse and engaging music selection that appeals to our listeners</li><li>Manage a team of DJs and producers, providing guidance and support to help them deliver high-quality content</li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging artists, constantly seeking new and exciting music to feature on MDLBEAST Radio</li><li>Collaborate with the Music &amp; Talent department to identify potential partnerships and collaborations that can enhance the station’s programming and reach</li><li>Monitor and analyze audience feedback and data to make informed decisions about programming adjustments and improvements</li><li>Ensure compliance with music licensing and copyright regulations</li><li>Stay informed about advancements in radio technology and explore opportunities to innovate and enhance the listener experience</li><li>Minimum 10+ years of experience in radio programming or music curation, with a strong track record of success</li><li>Strong knowledge of various music genres and trends, with a keen ear for identifying quality music</li><li>Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of creative individuals</li><li>Passion for discovering new music and supporting emerging artists, with a deep understanding of the music industry landscape</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams</li><li>Experience with music scheduling software and radio broadcasting systems is a plus</li></ul><p><br></p>If you are a creative and forward-thinking individual with a passion for music, we would love to hear from you.
