Cairo Runners is a nation-wide running initiative that has beaten street traffic, road rage and pollution by inspiring people to run. Over the past ten years we have engaged more than 100,000 individuals to participate in our programs; weekly runs, city marathons and half marathons and neighborhood activities.

As the organization is expanding into new growth frontiers, we are looking for a Head of Partnerships. The role is responsible for creating a vital operating revenue stream that events and day to day activities will be reliant on. We are looking for a stellar sales person and a brilliant deal closer who can run the department across different events and ensure long term partnerships are put in place.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Identifying and/or creating new leads and corporate partnership concepts through research, outreach, cold calling and/or existing relationships
Responsible for the acquisition of new sponsors and business partnerships, generating revenue for the company by utilizing its profile and status
Setting qualified appointments on an ongoing basis
Creating and presenting partnership packages tailored to client’s objectives and prospective sponsors’ marketing strategies
Dealing with internal teams in order to ensure that we meet all partners’ requirements.
Assisting in the preparation of all sponsorship materials
Maintaining timely and accurate records detailing sales performance, appointments, recaps, account management, and all other activities relating to corporate partner prospects
Working under stress of deadlines and prioritizing time to optimize efforts to achieve client’s financial and other objectives

Our Ideal Candidate Has:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college
5-7 years of partnership or venue related sales experience
Strong existing client relationships and media sales experience are preferred.
Excellent people skills, and an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic, and mature manner with VIP’s as well as internal and external clients at all levels are a must
High level of initiative, inner drive and attention to detail
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed
