Head of Manufacturing
Job Description
We are seeking to hire a “Head of Manufacturing” for a leading Regional Manufacturing and Distribution group. The position is based in Lebanon and it requires some travel.<p><br></p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide strategic leadership and direction for the manufacturing team, ensuring that production goals are met and quality standards are upheld</li><li>Develop and implement a comprehensive production plan that takes into account capacity, lead times, and inventory levels</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that production schedules align with demand and that customer orders are fulfilled on time</li><li>Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are available when needed</li><li>Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements</li><li>Develop and maintain key performance metrics to track production performance and identify areas for improvement</li><li>Manage and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork within the manufacturing organization</li><li>Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, sales, and finance, to ensure that manufacturing operations are aligned with overall business goals<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Job Requirements</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or related field</li><li>At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 5 years in a leadership role</li><li>Experience in preparing and equipping factories and dealing with suppliers</li><li>Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives</li><li>Proven track record of achieving production targets, reducing costs, and improving quality</li><li>Experience with inventory management and demand planning</li><li>Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously</li><li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion</li><li>Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to manufacturing operations<br></li></ul>
