Job Description
- Provide legal consultations to the Management to ensure compliance with groups’ objectives & requirements and mitigate potential risks.
- Review and approve contracts, agreements, and all legal documentation, ensuring they are in strict compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- Investigate complex claims and provide proactive and reactive legal advice to all aspects of the business
- Interpret and advise on existing and new legislation affecting the business and oversee the implementation of changes and/or dissemination of information as appropriate
- Oversee registration and protection of the Group’s intellectual property rights (e.g. trademarks, patents, copyright etc.)
- Work closely with Finance and HR on all customer and employee-related disputes and provide guidance in developing appropriate contracts and policies.
- Review all legal documentation pertaining to Groups regional legal activities such as contracts and agreements.
- Review progress on outstanding cases and legal proceedings and ensure timely resolution of all legal issues in liaison with external law firms where necessary.
- Ensure that a well-researched legal opinion is provided to meet its operational requirements.
- Provide legal advice to all functions for investigation of any grievances & disciplinary cases.
- Oversee legal activities pertaining to legal matters in the concerned countries
Qualifications
Bachelorβs Degree in Law or related field
Minimum of 12 years of Corporate Legal Functions or Law Firms
Fluency in Arabic is Mandatory
