This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis.<p><br></p>Please see details below.<p><br></p><strong>Title: </strong>Head of Contracts<p><br></p><strong>Start Date: </strong>Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice) target start is as soon as possible.<p><br></p><strong>Duration: </strong>Three years initial contract with a possibility of extension<p><br></p><strong>Location: </strong>Onshore (Office based)<p><br></p><strong>Working Schedule</strong>: Work hours per day: 10 hrs./day – Work Days per Week: 6 days/week – Work days per Month: 26 days/month.<p><br></p><strong><u>Job Accountabilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Manage the novation of the LLIs and EPCI contract process for Offshore project from contract type selection to preparation of the ITTs, to review of tender documents, to negotiation with prospective tenderers, through to contract award and day-to-day contract administration. Following the contracts and LLIs through to final account and claims settlement. Reports directly to the Offshore Project Controls Division Manager and informs the Offshore Senior Project Manager and the Project Manager for Topsides and Pipelines, Offshore Project Manager Jackets and Project Manager Pipelines. Tasked with managing all the contracts and ensuring all interfaces are adequately covered contractually. </li><li> Provide contractual strategy advice to the Project Management Team with respect to change order, variations, and claims. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications And Experience Required</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li> BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar, RICS membership, quantity surveying apprenticeship or equivalent. </li><li> 10 years of experience in contracting related to EPC contracts. </li><li> Experience in contract formulation activities, systems, and processes across a broad range of Contracts coupled with a working knowledge of engineering and or services/consultancy practices in oil and gas industry. </li><li> A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English. </li><li> Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills </li><li> Ability to resolve complaints and concerns. </li><li> Retain and demonstrate excellent attention to detail abilities and be an excellent communicator. </li><li> Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications. </li><li> Any qualification, technical, or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience. </li></ul><p><br></p>If you would like to be considered for the position, please apply direct to this advertisement with your CV & contact details, or send the same to Ibrahim.ahmed@airswift.com
