Head of Business
We are recruiting for a leading investment firm in Dubai, UAE.
Head of Business for their e-gaming division – responsible to expand the business, implement strategy, including planning, organizing, and executing competitions, events, and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Represent the company at emerging technologies events, conferences, and meetings, and act as a brand ambassador for the company.
• Managing the companies budget, including negotiating contracts with sponsors and other
stakeholders, and ensuring that all expenses are handled in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Drive partnership and business development strategies to increase revenue by creating sales
opportunities, developing partnership proposals, and supporting the broader team in
achieving successful sales of the business and emerging technologies products and services.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the emerging technologies industry, including publishers, teams, players, sponsors, and media partners
• Structure, negotiate, and close partnership deals with stakeholders to maximize value across
all sides
• Identify business model and primary sources of income and financial support through
sponsorships, merchandising, investment, and payments from developers and leagues.
• Prioritize and manage multiple sales prospects simultaneously and follow up on pitches in a
timely manner.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and developments in the emerging technologies space, such as new innovations, player recruitment strategies, and technology innovations, to keep the organization competitive and relevant.
• Drive revenue growth through sponsorship deals, partnerships, and other monetization
opportunities.
Skills
Requirements–
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field.
• 10 + years of experience in technology / emerging technologies industry/ event management/marketing/similar field.
• Strong understanding of the e-sports landscape in the MENA region.
• Proven track record of successfully organizing and executing large scale events / tournaments.
• Strong business acumen, with experience in driving revenue growth through sponsorship
deals, partnerships, and other monetization opportunities.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a
team of e-sports professionals.
