<strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>During the opening, procedure ensure that the table top set up (flowers, candles, lamps, and tent cards) is set according to the restaurant’s requirements.</li><li>Ensure that all tabletop items are clean and in good repair.</li><li>Relate with guests when they arrive and when they are leaving</li><li>Thank clients for their patronage when they are leaving</li><li>Communicate with guests while they wait for their drink and food orders.</li><li>Ensure complete and consistent cleanliness of the hostess area</li><li>Be available to answer calls and greet guests</li><li>Provide assistance to servers with tallies at shift ends</li><li>Supervise host book efficiently and oversee guests’ seating arrangements</li><li>Handle guests amicably and with understanding whether they have reservations or not</li><li>Make a great and impressive first impression on guests</li><li>Schedule reservations for guests both in person and over the phone</li><li>Communicate with supervisors or management on any issue related to guests.</li><li>Handle all cases related to guests courteously and professionally</li><li>Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the Restaurant Manager, Training Manager, and Food and Beverage Manager.</li><li>To keep the uniform neat and clean and ensure personal grooming and hygiene are in line with standards set by Emirates Palace.</li><li>Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time like your Supervisor or Manager directed.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Skills And Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Bachelor’s or Higher Educational Diploma</li></ul>
