Our client is a leading Facility Management Company in Qatar that specializes in providing customized facility solutions and services to a diverse range of industries. They are looking to hire a Hard Services Manager to lead, Develop and implement operational strategies which lead to Company growth.<p><br></p><strong>Duties and responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide excellent service and meet or exceed client expectations and contract objectives. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve and expand the scope of services. Make recommendations to clients and management as appropriate.</li><li>Monitor market trends and best practices. Provide insights and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.</li><li>Manage department budgets in accordance with company policies and guidelines.</li><li>Continuously improve quality of service through innovations and implementation of best practices.</li><li>Track performance metrics, monitor budgets, and prepare monthly reports for clients and senior leadership.</li><li>Forecast budgets and expenses to ensure costs stay within approved levels.</li><li>Oversee facilities management and ensure contract obligations are met.</li><li>Consult with technical experts and senior leaders as needed to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.</li><li>Supervise staff and address personnel issues according to policies and procedures.</li><li>Complete required audits and ensure quality standards are met.</li><li>Provide training and development opportunities to staff to achieve business goals.</li><li>Identify and manage risks associated with projects using appropriate controls and monitoring.</li><li>Perform risk assessments and ensure staff are trained and compliant with requirements.</li><li>Create reports and presentations for various audiences including staff, committees, and executives.</li><li>Continuously improve facilities management services to deliver consistent high-quality outcomes.</li><li>Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong><strong>Qualifications and competencies</strong>:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field</li><li>Certifications: BICS, IOSH, HACCP, BIFM certified</li><li> Quality Management System (ISO 9001)</li><li> Occupational Health &amp; Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001)</li><li> Certified Facility Manager (CFM, IFMA-USA)</li><li> Extensive knowledge of current trends within the healthcare industry</li><li>15-18 years of progressive experience in overseeing, supervising, and managing facility operations and staff</li></ul>
