Job Description

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Check the equipment and other facilities offered by the gym
• Manage and lead the day to day Gym operations, ensuring all standards are followed
• Promote and sell customized Gym activities to conference groups and individuals
• Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors; including location, product offering, pricing, promotion and sales techniques
• He is responsible for resolving problems and complaints very quickly
• The gym manager is the one responsible for the gym’s budget, may it be for the staff’s salaries or equipment that needs to be replaced
• Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all leaders and support staff
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• BA degree in sport science, business administration or management.
• Service focused personality is essential
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
