<p><span>We are looking for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join our busy and growing team! As our Group Finance Manager, you will act as the backbone of our financial operations, helping to keep our business on track for financial success and ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization through the effective management and leadership of our finance departments. A successful candidate needs to be able to develop and implement financial strategies that will ensure the organization meets its financial goals and objectives. They should also be able to analyze financial data and advise on areas of improvement and develop financial systems and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable in all areas of finance including financial management, audits, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, tax and compliance&nbsp;as well as providing strategic financial advice and guidance to executive management.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li><span>Oversee and manage all financial operations for the organization, including audits, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.</span></li><li><span>Create and implement financial strategies that support the company’s overall mission and goals.</span></li><li><span>Develop financial projections and forecasts to help guide the company’s long-term plans.</span></li><li><span>Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations to senior management.</span></li><li><span>Manage and develop finance team members, providing leadership and guidance and ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently.</span></li><li><span>Represent the company with external financial stakeholders such as banks, investors, and auditors.</span></li><li><span>Manage and oversee compliance in tax-related matters, this requires staying up to date on changes to tax laws and regulations and also developing processes and procedures to ensure that all returns are filed accurately and on time. It also involves monitoring the organization’s financial records to ensure they are compliant with the applicable tax laws.</span></li><li><span>Develop and maintain internal policies regarding financial processes, and ensures that the company follows a uniform and consistent set of procedures when handling financial transactions, reducing the risk of errors and fraud.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span>Requirements:</span></p><ul><li><span>At least 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a logistics and freight forwarding company.</span></li><li><span>A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and with the relevant professional accounting qualification as an ACCA, CA or CPA.</span></li><li><span>Strong knowledge of IFRS.</span></li><li><span>Fluency in English, additional languages such as Mandarin, Russian, German or Hindi would be an added advantage.</span></li><li><span>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.</span></li><li><span>Expertise in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems. Experience with Zoho Books is an added advantage.</span></li><li><span>A solid understanding of taxation and compliance.</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and proficiency in financial analysis.</span></li><li><span>Experience with forecasting and budgeting.</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to senior management and external stakeholders.</span></li><li><span>Strong managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team to success.</span></li><li><span>Experience in a group or multi-site environment.</span></li><li><span>A deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you feel that you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on a challenging role in finance, then we want to hear from you!
