Job Description
<p>We are looking for a well-rounded <strong>Group Chief Accountant & Tax Manager</strong></p><p> </p><p>The ideal candidate is capable to manage all the accounting activities of the Group and lead the below main responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Ensure that all books are compliant with SOPs and regulations</li><li>Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as needed</li><li>Prepare financial data, performance reports, assist departments with the annual budget </li><li>Maintain the proper application of accounting standards – IAS29</li><li>Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with each country’s laws and regulations </li><li>Handle internal control and tax studies</li><li>Develop tax strategies and policies that aim to maintain compliance with tax laws and regulations</li><li>Formulate accounting strategy and develop an action plan </li><li>Manage the development of Accounting policies and procedures, as well as the design and implementation of related processes and performance measurement models</li><li>Coordinate and ensure the successful completion of annual audits </li><li>Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department </li><li>Perform various responsibilities related to team management including hiring, setting objectives, reviewing performance, coaching and development </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications </strong> </p><p>8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position</p><p>Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Audit or Business-related field</p><p>Solid experience in Taxation and ERP implementation </p><p>Excellent commands of English and Arabic, French is a plus</p><p></p>
