<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p><strong><u>POSITION OVERVIEW</u></strong><u>:</u><p><br></p>We are currently seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Graphic Designer. Parsons is a worldwide leader in infrastructure This position will be responsible for Graphic Design in support of a fast-growing multi-disciplinary professional team based in Head quarter office.<p><br></p><strong><u>Specific Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p>Designs and prepares moderately complex digital and offline art and copy layouts, applying established standards and formats from the Company’s and Clients style/brand manual.<p><br></p>Works directly with Senior Managers and/or the authors/requestors to review artwork, text, and other materials submitted for inclusion in assigned documents. May recommend improvements for accuracy of expression, clarity, and consistency with Company style/identity.<p><br></p>Designs and produces production-ready visual graphics, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, slides, charts, plots, diagrams, tables, sketches, isometrics, viewgraphs, posters, signs, and certificates.<p><br></p>Modifies existing artwork as required.<p><br></p>Serves as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.<p><br></p>Provides production data such as reduction sizing, quantity, and paper/ink selection.<p><br></p>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<p><br></p><strong><u>Preferred Education/Experience</u></strong><p><br></p>Graphic design diploma or professional equivalent with minimum of 2 years’ experience.<p><br></p>Proficiency in graphic design technology and software used to complete design related assignments (Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign / Premiere / etc).<p><br></p>Experience in preparing design, art, and copy layouts for proposals, presentations, reports, technical papers, newsletters, and other visual communications media.<p><br></p>Experience in coordinating with printing/production houses.<p><br></p>Photography and video production experience is a plus.<p><br></p>Strong written and verbal communication (English), organizational, and interpersonal skills, as and the ability to meet deadlines.<p><br></p><strong><u>Skills/Competencies</u></strong><p><br></p>Exemplary professional attitude and demonstrated ability in exercising tact, diplomacy, good judgment, and customer service and support, as well as the ability to interface effectively with a variety of people.<p><br></p>Demonstrated experience with verbal and written communication and coordination skills to effectively work with individuals at all levels.<p><br></p>Demonstrated experience with supporting large, professional teams in challenging environments, working to deadlines and budgets.<p><br></p>Demonstrated experience utilizing standard business application software for presentations, word processing, and spreadsheets.<p><br></p>Ability to manage and work in a team, deliver objectives and targets.<p><br></p><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start</u></strong><p><br></p>Not Applicable/None<p><br></p>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
